Photos From Oakridge

Here are some photos from our Oakridge weekend...too bad you can't feel how cold it was!!

Thanks!

Whewww! What a busy couple of weeks! Two weekends ago we were at the Oakridge Festival and last weekend was Ladies Day. Both events went very well and we would like to thank everyone who came to visit. It was very cold at the Oakridge Festival and we appreciate those who bundled up and came out. It went so well that we are planning on setting up in July and October next year. We have some photos of the booth and of Eloise Barrows who braved the cold and painted for a couple of hours. We also have an upcoming Artist of the Month on November 7 that you won't want to miss!

For the Love of Wool
This is a wool gathering for those who love to play with wool. You may come and knit, crochet, dry felt, spin, or whatever your heart desires with wool during this time. This offers the advantage of seeing what others are doing with their wool and allows others to help troubleshoot when you get stuck with a difficult stitch. We will gather on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month starting in September.

For information on any of the above classes, please call 419-617-7201 or email info@mattersoftheart.com. Thanks, Stacy

Good Morning,

We are heading off Allegan, Michigan to a Fiber Festival for a short overnight visit. Hopefully, we will get some new ideas to share with our fellow fiber lovers.

Our newest item we are adding to the blog spot is pictures of some of the artists items for sale in the store. We will be adding a new artist regularly so be sure to stop by and check out what's new and exciting!

Today, we are featuring Luc Hargis. He has hand-painted journals in various sizes. He will custom design a journal for you for a small additional fee. Attached are a couple examples of his awesome work. To see his work in person, purchase a journal, or to custom order - just stop into the store.
