New Pottery
We would like to announce that Joy Bellamy has begun displaying her pottery in our store. Please stop in and see her work. Her pottery is simple, beautiful and very functional. She was a big hit at the Art Festival and she's sure to sell alot of her work. We are glad she chose to sell her pottery at our store and look forward to new pieces from her. Thanks, Shane and Stacy Grove
Thanks!
We would like to thank everyone who attended the 1st Annual Bucyrus Art Festival. After a sleepless night on Friday(wondering if anone would come!) it turned out to be a beautiful day. We hope everyone had a great time. We've recieved alot of positive feedback and we are looking forward to the next one. It is our goal to put on an event that everyone can enjoy and be proud to have in town. Thanks to everyone who helped out and to the vendors who gave up a Saturday to display their artwork. Thanks, Shane and Stacy Grove

Art Festival
We are pleased to announce that the art festival planned for July 26, 2008 is shaping up nicely. We have commitmnets from 10 artisits to display and sell their artwork. There will also be some muscians and some food available. The one event we are still trying to get some more interest in is the sidewalk art contest. We are going to hold a contest among area students who want to produce chalk sidewalk art in front of downtown businesses. We have quite a few students interested but need many more to participate. If anyone knows of a Sunday school or vacation bible school program that would like to have their kids participate please have them contact us. Also, if there are any college kids or even adults that would like to participate we would love to hear from them too. We are planning on taking donations from the businesses to have the art drawn in front of their store. Then we will direct people to walk aroud town and view the artwork and then vote on their favorites. The artwork with the most votes will be awarded half of the money donated to be given to their school or organizations art program. The other half of the donations from the business will be given to the fountain repair fund.

Shadowboxes
What are shadowboxes? Shadowboxes are generally a collection of memoribilia, family heirlooms or just about anything that you want to show off. For instance, we have done a numer of professional athletes jerseys with a autographed 8x10, these are tacked to the back matting and then framed under glass. The end result is a fabulous looking piece of memoribilia of one's favorite athlete. Historical documents and pictures can be combined in a display to capture an important time in history. Weddings can be captured in a smaller shadowbox by placing an invitation, pictures, a garter or just about anything that you would want to display to remember your special day . The possibilities are endless and there is no wrong thing or event to preserve in a professionally done shadowbox. Please visit our website or contact us to discuss your shadowbox ideas.
